Easel Card with an Exquisite Pink Flower

This card was designed and made for my friend.  It was inspired by beautiful technique of making Royal Flower using husking technique http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q5fNMzAL0Y&feature=youtu.be

The card is an Easel Card.

I used a textured cardstock of DCWV MatchMakers and Jubilee Specialty Paper of K&Company. I made a box for the card as well. I used my favorite Cuttlebug to emboss my box.

Purple/Blue Coneflowers and Pink/White Daisy Arrangement in a Frame

My framed quilled compositions with coneflowers were inspired by Claire Sun-ok Choi's book "The Art of Paper Quilling". Making coneflowers were challenging but I enjoyed it.

White daisies were made by rolling strips of white paper around chopstick.

Pink daisies were made using simple “teadrop” shapes.
